Náayeri man
$20.00
11.25x8” digital print of a Teuchitlan man based on sculptures from the Teuchitlán culture of West Mexico. The Teuchitlán culture existed in Colima, Jalisco, and Nayarit, as well as beyond their primary sphere of influence, in Guanajuato. The Teuchitlán culture was (theoretically) centered in Teuchitlán, at Los Guachimontones, and is known for their circular pyramids, ceramics, and tradition of using shaft-and-chamber tombs, like some other West Mexican cultures. Modern Náayerite (Coras) and Wixáritari (Huicholes) are their modern cultural descendants.
